Everything is in your power and your power is within you.

Don’t worry. I’m not gonna tell you that Law of Attraction is a secret life hack that anyone can use. It requires conscious effort with your head in the right direction. Having said that,

Do you believe in Karma?

The simple concept of what goes around comes back around.

The Law of Attraction is a similar concept that says that all our thoughts are a form of energy and, we attract the kind of energy we give out.

This energy leads to positive or negative outcomes based on the kind of power it was.

It’s like a mirror and, we only reflect what we see. Although, there’s no real scientific evidence on this law. I read a book called The Secret that made me familiar with this concept.

There is a lot of stigma around how to use the law and how it works the best for you. In the following lines, I’ll try to explain how to use the way in the most practical manner.

How can you use the Law of Attraction-PRACTICALLY?

The Law of Attraction is not a concept of inactivity. You cannot sit around and wait for something good to happen if you aren’t putting in the effort. It’s not magic. It’s just the universe returning your favor. At least, that’s how I see it.

I love the quote “The harder I work, The luckier I get” because it reminds me that nothing in life comes easy if you just wait around. When you show up and put in your efforts every day, the universe comes back to you with rewards.

It’s a better Philosophy to have. When you shift from a problems mindset to a solutions mindset, you start seeing real changes.

It’s not rocket science but, it’s not as easy as it looks either. The desire to put in the work is the only thing that’ll help you manifest the things you want most.

5 ways to make the law of attraction work for you

  1. Habits: The act of showing up each day to every task, no matter how small, is how you build habits. The act of doing something in a routine so much so that it becomes automatic is called a habit.

Consistency is the name of the game and, it sends out a signal to the universe. Your actions attract what you want. The daily things that you do give a signal to the universe. It tells the universe, what to give you more of and where to focus your manifestation at.

It is exactly the reason why you start seeing opportunities when you take action. It’s the law of attraction in all its glory.

2. Affirmations: A positive statement that helps to set our minds in the right direction. Repeating them on a daily basis helps you set the tone for your day or a particular task.

Affirmations are what helps us to frame our subconscious mind. It’s like giving instructions to the mind inside our mind. This way, we can reprogram our behavior and thoughts. Most Importantly, we can change how we perceive ourselves.

There is no real number, but just like habits, if we do it enough times, we’d believe it. Your subconscious mind is like a storage unit. It stores our memories, past experiences, skills, and a lot more.

When we speak to ourselves in a positive way, our mind and subconscious will start believing it.

It happens because we are actively communicating information from conscious to subconscious.

You can start your day with:

“Today’s gonna be a great day,”

“I’ll complete all my work today,” or “

I’ll kick back and relax the whole day.”

It helps your subconscious mind save information much more easily.

3. Visualization: It’s a simple way of imagining your desired outcome. Simply put, picture what would the outcome look like for you. Visualization is a powerful technique because it fosters imagination.

Now that you’ve imagined it, your mind can store it as a belief. When it becomes a belief, you can get started with building a system of habits around it. Once you build a habit, motivate yourself with affirmations and visualization.

Let’s say you want to get fit and, you start with step one.

  • Making fitness a habit by going to the gym every day.
  • The next thing is to train the muscle of your subconscious mind with affirmations like “I am Fit” or “I have a great body.” Whatever works for you.
  • The last way to nail it is to visualize yourself in that perfect body or shape you wanted to achieve. The point is to take action but also send out signals.

The power of these activities works like a billboard for the universe. We clearly communicate what we want and how we are working hard for it. Eventually, it becomes your reality.

The only pre-requisite is for the efforts and beliefs to be a 100% genuine. No compromises and no doubts about that.

4. Gratitude: The simple act of being thankful for most of the things in our life is called gratitude.

Gratitude is not just a formula for thanking and feeling great about everything you have. It actually has a significant effect on your brain.

Science backs this fact. Gratitude can make us feel better by releasing serotonin and dopamine. Both of these hormones help us feel good and motivated.

Gratitude works with the law of attraction in reciprocity. It means that if we feel ungrateful and thankless all the time, we give the universe signals to bring us more of that.

But, if we feel blessed and happy most of the time, we send out a signal to the universe to give us more of that. The universe does not know what you want. It only guesses that based on what you show it.

It’s like a mirror that gives back your reflection. The best practice is to show what you want to get back from it.

Next Steps

  • Start with practicing good habits daily to take positive action. It sets the tone for the universe.

Action Step: Make a list of your desired habits. (The ones you want to start)

  • Motivate yourself with positive affirmations to get that extra push to achieve more.

Action Step: Start your day with a suitable affirmation tailor-made for you. Increase the amount of affirmation according to your own liking.

  • Visualize your desired outcomes when you start with a new challenge or a habit. It helps to see the long-term vision and motivates you to achieve more.

Action Step: Start visualizing your own version of a good day right after you wake up or just before going to sleep.

Practice gratitude every day, even on the days when you feel like nothing is going right. It helps to attract the same vibrations from the universe.

Action Step: List down all things you are grateful for and make a checklist. Make it a habit to try and tick off everything from that list every day. This way you can be assured that you have something to feel grateful about even on a bad day.

Conclusion

The Law of Attraction is not a magical formula that works without effort. The power of the law only works when you take conscious action in your desired direction.

Once you start understanding how the law of attraction works, you’d realize its power and for that, be mindful. Be present at the moment and think about all your actions.

Notice every little thing around you and how it relates to what you are doing. Eventually, you’ll start connecting the dots and figure out how the law seamlessly connects to our daily lives.

And remember, nothing changes if nothing changes.
