What Do Great Headlines Have in Common?
I’ve analyzed over 100+ static ad creatives like I get paid for it. Thank god this is a hobby and it also helps me with work.
Anyway…as I looked through most of the ads, I saw a couple of tactics come up again and again and again.
Turns out, some type of headlines are better than others.
Here are 7 of my favourite ones…
Ad 1
Rhyming makes anything sound legit. When in doubt, try to write a line like a poem.
Ad 2
Instant benefit + objection handling makes up for a great argument as to why someone should trust YOUR product.
Ad 3
Specific outcome is a great way to tell people EXACTLY what they get.
Ad 4
If your product is common, write a headline where the use case is uncommon.
Ad 5
Truth is the most interesting part of a headline. Make sure to present it like that too.
Ad 6
A metaphor makes your product or its benefits more memorable.
Ad 7
Present an emotional problem and position your product as THE solution.
